"hotel staff was kind of snippity in attitude. asked if we were eligible for any discounts since i had booked through an online service and some of the options i felt should be available were not even mentioned online and clerk said since i'd done it online he couldn't give me anything more. at checkout i asked for a receipt and was told since i did it online i'd get one there. felt that they both (not the same persons, first was male, second female)could have been more friendly and that a receipt could have been printed. i have worked as a front desk clerk and trainer, their attitudes could have gotten them fired where i used to work. this location was clear across town from the airport, so it wasn't convenient from that aspect, but it was on the side of town we needed to be on to go where we wanted to go the next day. as far as value, we found out that our daughter only paid 2 dollars more for a much nicer room down the road at a higher class motel, so not so sure i got a bargain. the rooms were well cleaned, but the plumbing was very slow and there was a tree that had branches hanging into the parking spaces."
